<p>New Slapshots GM Tom Wagner took a few weeks after being hired to evaluate the team. But now that the plan has been identified the trades have been coming fast and furious. The moves have been designed to keep the team competative this year and also build in some financial flexibility for the future. We sent out some good players, but like the ones we have received also. We are excited about the long term outlook for this team and look forward to trying to bring the Cup to Gander. It is doubtful that the moves are over yet. Next on the shopping list are a dman and a backup goalie.</p>
